Zac Efron recently tweeted a throwback picture of him alongside his crew from High School Musical saying he was “so grateful I came across this picture… with the o.g. Crew during one of the most cherished times of my life. #fbf.” Since that tweet, Efron has been getting a ton of flack from people calling him “fake” and saying he is just trying to “redeem himself.”

A week prior to this tweet Efron allegedly stated that he regretted ever doing High School Musical. This caused many fans to become upset with the young actor and analyze everything that he says (or has said) about the franchise.

Before any of this happened, High School Musical had its 10 year reunion, but there was one cast member who was not in attendance. That cast member was Zac Efron.

It seems appears that Efron is doing everything to separate himself from High School Musical. He even stated that he wishes he could go back in time and beat up his teenage self.

“I step back and look at myself and I still want to kick that guy’s ass sometimes,” Efron told Men’s Fitness. “He’s still just that f**king kid from High School Musical.”
