Make sure you know where you are staying for the weekend and have a mode of transportation to and from the festival. Make sure to look at the lineup and figure out which artists you want to see. Schedule your shows and do your best to avoid scheduling conflicts. You will inevitably miss some performances, but if you plan ahead you can reduce the missed moments.

2. Charge Up

This is a must for Music Midtown. You are out in the middle of a park with thousands of your closest friends, so of course cell service is going to be spotty and your battery will be drained. Make sure to pack a portable charger so you can easily recharge your battery and stay in communication with your friends.

3. Comfy Shoes

This is not the time to invest in a new, stylish, cute pair of shoes. You are going to be walking everywhere, so do your feet a favor and wear something comfortable. A good pair of sneakers or boots is a great option.

4. Buddy System

Music Midtown it is very easy place to lose the people you came with. Everyone wants to see different performers, and before you know it you have lost all your friends. Cell reception is patchy, so this is why it is a good idea to implement the buddy system. Having a friend to stay with will ensure a safe time at the festival.

5. Hydrate

It is going to be hot, so make sure stay hydrated. Bring an empty water bottle into the festival so you can refill it at the hydration stations. Make sure to keep drinking water throughout the day in order to survive the brutal Atlanta heat.
