Must-Have Bag & School Essentials

images (2)Along with a new school year, comes school shopping (which is probably the only exciting thing about returning to school)! My favorite part about school shopping? Getting a new bag for the year! Everyone will be carrying around some neon Jansport backpack (trust me, I was guilty of it freshman year), but don’t be like the rest and find a unique bag that will be sure to stand out on campus.

Here some of the best back to school bags:

Herschel Backpacks
Herschel Backpacks are simple, classy, and timeless. They will go with any outfit and are large enough to carry around everything that you need.Unknown (2)

Patent Leather Backpacks
These backpacks have such a different look to them and you’re sure to stand out with a vibrant color like this one.image1xxl

Totes
If you’re not usually one to carry around a backpack, a tote is the best option to carry around everything that you need. Find a cute one that matches your style and you’re good to go!TB_22149613_208

Whether you are starting your first year of college or you are heading back to high school to finish off senior year, there are some things that everyone needs in order to have a successful school year. When you’re looking for your new bag, make sure that you have all of the essentials to fill it. Here is what you’ll need:

School Essentials

  • Agenda
    • As someone who depends on their agenda to live, I personally think that Lily Pulitzer has the best agendas. They have a lot of space to write in and have the cutest designs. They are on the pricier side but the agenda lasts for 18 months!
  • Notebooks/Pencils
    • This is a given. Even though most of schoolwork depends on technology, it is still a necessity to have a few notebooks and pens. If you’re as crazy as me, you’ll probably have different colors for each class.
  • Snacks
    • The worst thing to be in class is hungry and tired. Make sure that you bring snacks to school that will fill you up and keep you energized. Granola Bars and fruit are always a good choice.
  • Headphones
    • Make sure you have your headphones because in between classes you may want to watch a show on Netflix or you’ll want to listen to music on the walk to class.
  • Laptop
    • A lot of teachers depend on technology in class, so it’s always a good idea to bring your laptop with you.
  • Phone Charger
    • Always have your charger on you. You never know when you’ll stay on campus later than expected and need your charger.
