Los Angeles County prosecutors say the case in Michael Jackson's June 25 death will be filed today. Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, will likely plead not guilty when he is arraigned on involuntary manslaughter charges.

Dr. Murray will arrive at the courthouse 20 - 30 minutes before the 1:30pm PT arraignment. He will surrender voluntarily. Dr. Murray will be accompanied by a bail bondsman who will post bail which isexpected to be $25,000. Following arraignment and booking, TMZ reports Dr. Murray will leave L.A. and go either to Las Vegas or Houston.

Former Miss California Carrie Prejean has gotten engaged to NFL star Kyle Boller.


A source says that the two decided to make it official Saturday in Prejean's hometown of San Diego where the St. Louis Rams QB also has a house and spends time during the off-season. The 22 year-old Prejean began dating the 28-year-old UC Berkeley alum last July.

Snooki from MTV's 'Jersey Shore' attended a chicken wing eating contest in Philadelphia Friday morning, and wasn't well-received.

When some folks started booing Snooki flipped them the bird/middle finger. Later, she apologized on her Twitter, posting "Sorry philly for the reaction this morning I got caught up in the moment and wing bowl is nuts!"

Jamie Lynn Spears and baby-daddy Casey Aldridge have broken up. They have a 19-month-old daughter together.


There is no word on why the two ended their relationship. But, one source says the 18-year-old little sister of Britney Spears has moved on with 28-year-old Louisianan, James Watson. He reportedly owns a communications and television equipment company called Advanced Media Partners in Hammond, LA.

MTV execs are cracking down on the number of money-making promo events the "Jersey Shore" stars' agree to. They've ordered the cast to rein in their appearances at clubs and bars or face strict fines or even legal action.
 

But sources tell the NY Post certain cast members are ignoring the rules and pushing to rake in as much money as possible. A source close to the castsays, "MTV has told the 'Jersey Shore' crew they can only do two personal appearances a week, and that all of their gigs have to be approved by producers.

If you're way more obsessed with show business than the average person should be, then you have to agree that the best Super Bowl commercial, hands down, was the one featuring David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno. It was a commercial for Letterman's "Late Show" so it was pretty mind-blowing that Dave would ask Jay to do it and that Jay would agree.
 

Letterman's producer, Rob Burnett, talked with "Entertainment Weekly" about how the ad came together, and it's pretty interesting. He said that Dave came up with the initial idea.  They pitched it to Oprah first, and she liked it.

Former lovers Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan got into a nasty fight last week, and ended with Lohan throwing a drink in DJ Ronson's face! A source says  "Sam was working her usual weekly gig DJing at Crown bar.

Lindsay turned up around 11 pm and she was in the mood for trouble! "Lindsay was drinking straight out of a bottle of vodka and I saw her take an orange prescription bottle out of her bag and pop a couple of pills that she said were Adderal, she even offered some of the pills to a friend that was with her. "Lindsay was trying to get Sam's attention, but she was working and studiously ignored Lindsay.

Jennifer Aniston flew into Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, over the weekend with some riends, including Gerard Butler, Courteney Cox and Sheryl Crow.
 

They celebrated her upcoming birthday; she turns 41 on Wednesday Febuary 11. Aniston showed some skin in a brown and pink bikini ensemble while on the getaway at the One & Only Pamilla Resort. She and Butler, her co-star in the comedy The Bounty Hunter, got cozy backstage at the Golden Globes last month.

On Friday, Tiger Woods left rehab, and reunited with his wife Elin. She flew to Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to fly home with the golf legend.
 
 

The couple is planning on spending some time alone as they try to repair their marriage. Elin has called off the divorce. She had consulted with an Orlando-area attorney but has decided to give Tiger another chance.

It looks like Charlie Sheen will be charged with assault though, TMZ reports a plea bargain may be in the works. Lawyers for Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller met with the prosecutor on Friday to try and convince the D.A. to back off the case.

The actor is expected to be charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault when he is arraigned in Aspen, Colorado on Monday for the Christmas Day fight. TMZ reports the case may never go to trial because of the possibility of a plea bargain. Sources say Charlie would be open to a plea bargain if the plea involves a misdemeanor though no plea would be entered for 60 days from today.

Sources say ABC is considering moving "The View" to afternoons with Oprah Winfrey leaving daytime television in September 2011, ABC, its stations and affiliates are discussing (money-making) ways to fill the slot.
 

There's been a buzz surrounding Ellen DeGeneres and whether her distributor Warner Bros. would try to move her show to ABC stations in big cities it currently plays on NBC stations in the top markets, including KNBC in Los Angeles. Another scenario making the rounds has ABC trying to move "The View" into Winfrey's time slots.

Charlie Sheen is expected to be charged with felony menacing either today or early Monday morning, for the Christmas Day incident with his wife, Brooke Mueller. The 'Two and a Half Men' star allegedly threatened to kill his wife. Sources say Sheen will be charged with felony menacing and a misdemeanor.

The couple is expected to attend the Monday hearing in Colorado. Lawyers on both sides are expected to also make their case to relax the protective order that prohibits any contact between the couple.

A Los Angeles coroner official ruled Brittany Murphy's death an accident... and said it "possibly" could have been prevented. The official said "Had someone said, 'You are going [to the doctor] and thrown her in the car, she might be alive today," The coroner found that Murphy died of pneumonia made worse by taking multiple drugs.

The actress only weighed 115 pounds at the time of her death and also suffered from iron deficiency and anemia. The official adds she was a sick young lady. And that her mother talked, and she decided to get a doctor's appointment but she died a few days before the appointment.

If you believe today's NY Post... "American Idol" producers would like Howard Stern to replace Simon Cowell as judge.


An insider said that producers of the hit Fox show say America's highest-paid radio personality is their top choice to take over from Cowell, who leaves at the end of this season. They approached Stern after he mentioned on-air that his exclusive Sirius XM Radio deal expires next January, and he was open to other offers. Simon Cowell was paid $50 million a year.

Tabloid sites are claiming Reese Witherspoon could be dating a Hollywood talent agent just days after she was falsely linked to Scottish hunk Gerard Butler. Reese split from Jake Gyllenhaal late last year, and she was rumored to have become involved with Butler. A rep for Butler shot down those reports.

Now, online gossips claim Reese is dating agent Jim Toth, after the were seen enjoying dinner together in Santa Monica, California last Thursday. Toth works for Creative Artists Agency, the organization which represents Witherspoon.   A source tells People.com the intimate evening out was "a date (but) nothing serious."

Casey Johnson died from complications of diabetes according to the coroner. The Johnson and Johnson heiress died of natural causes not by a drug overdose as some suspected.


The 30-year-old was found dead at her home in Los Angeles on January 4th.  The coroner says the full autopsy report should be available within the next two weeks.
