Hi, my name is brittany, and I have a problem. That's the first step, right? Admitting it? I have an addiction... to Target.
I know it's not just me! It's impossible to go in that place without buying a million things! It's just so clean & bright & neat... & they have so many things I NEED...
It happened to me again yesterday morning. I vowed recently that I wouldn't buy any more bottled water in 2010 (I stopped using plastic shopping bags in 2009) and I'm determined to stick to it. BUT, I got into the station just after 9am & realized I had forgotten my aluminum water bottle. I figured I had a few minutes & it wouldn't hurt to have an extra, so I headed up the street to the brand new Prado Target. I should've known I was in trouble when they built one that close to where I work.
I walked in with the intention of buying 2 things: a water bottle and emory boards so that I could do a little nail maintenance. I ended up spending almost $50. At some point I usually just end up wandering around, picking up random objects that I've never even considered owning.
You guys, I almost bought a Shake Weight. Seriously.
But as they say, it's only a problem if you want to get rid of it. And I DON'T. I LOVE my Target shopping excursions. This doesn't happen to me in any other store! It's almost magical. I've joked before that I should just work out some kind of deal with them where they take a percentage of my paycheck &/or my firstborn child, and I get unlimited access each month. I wonder if they'd consider that deal...
