Gables Day 2009

Gables Day 2009 was an event that took place in May this year that gave the Gables associates the day off to allow them the opportunity to give back to their own community. This year, they helped with the American Red Cross and visited the Atlanta #29 Fire Station.

To help the American Red Cross, they visited the one close to Gable's new location at Gables Midtown. They helped prepare hundreds of Emergency Preparedness Kits and Disaster Relief Kits. These kits were both put together to help families prepare for emergencies or provided relief to those who suffered recent disasters. Another way people helped the Red Cross was by donating blood for a blood drive.

At the Atlanta Fire Station, Gables associates and volunteers got together to update and rennovate the station's living areas. People helped to fix the landscape, painted, updated the flooring, and provided plenty of general improvements to give back to the men and women who risk their lives everyday to keep Atlanta safe.
